Summer Evening Concert series.

The venue and concert series
presents a fabulous evening of
music accompanied by breathtaking

and stunning sunsets. Performers

Culbertson burned up the keys

quite a bit of the instrument in his music. |

Jacksonville JazzFest!
The multi-day, multi-venue
event included performances by Joe Sample, Patti Austin, Poncho Sanchez,
Liz Wright, Michael Buble, Branford Marsalis, Keiko Matsui, Groovin' for
Grover, Concord Jazz, George Benson, and many others.

Two jazz greats performed
Friday night ... Joe Sample opened the evening, Patti Austin followed. |
 |
|
 |
|
|
  |
Saturday afternoon brought
more jazz from Poncho Sanchez and Liz Wright. Later, Crooner Michael
Buble took the stage, and Branford Marsalis followed ... and so did bad
weather. A rainy afternoon turned into a |
|
|
stormy night causing the
Guitars & Saxes set to be cancelled. |

|

|
|
|
Even though Sunday's weather
was predicted to be worse than Saturday's, the skies cleared to a |
sunny day for sets from
Keiko Matsui and Groovin' for Grover
(featuring Paul Taylor, Gerald Albright, and Richard Elliot ... Jeff
Lorber
not shown). |

Kim Waters came back to
Festival Friday's this year, and the crowd liked it just as much as last
year.
Listeners bought CD 'til they were sold out, and Waters stayed to give
autographs for all who asked.
Later in the afternoon,
WLOQ contest winners
were treated to a private party with Waters. The Blackfin hosted the
party, and there was lots of conversation, food, and fun for everyone.

Ed Calle brought out a huge
